Chocolate cake (Microwave)

This is the easiest chocolate cake to make, and it (almost) never fails.  It’s chocolatey, moist, and not too sweet (the caramel on top obviously makes it a bit sweeter).

Ingredients
120 g (1 cup) flour
200 g (1 cup) sugar
250 ml (1 cup) warm water
37.5 ml (2½ T) cocoa powder
12.5 ml (2½ t) baking powder
1 ml (¼ )t salt
5 ml (1 t) vanilla essence
2 large eggs

Method
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.  Put cocoa in a separate bowl, add warm water and vanilla essence and mix well.   Add the eggs one by one to the cocoa mixture, and mix well.   Combine the cocoa mix with the dry ingredients and whisk for 30 seconds with an electric mixer (or whisk).  Transfer to a prepared microwave safe dish.  Bake for 7 minutes at 100% power in microwave.  Frosting: Can of caramel, or melted chocolate.
